SYMPTOM
The monitor is not clear.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
1 The brightness is not
adjusted properly.
2 The monitor is exposed
to direct sunlight.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1 Adjust the brightness.
2 Block the sunlight.

SYMPTOM

formatting cannot be performed.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
1 A write-protect adhesive
seal is affixed to the
card.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1 Use the card after peeling off
the seal. Do not reuse the
write protect seal.

When the camera is connected to a computer, an error message appears
while data is being transferred to the computer.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
1 The cable is not plugged
in correctly.
2 The power is OFF.
3 The batteries are
exhausted.
4 The serial port is not
selected correctly.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1 Connect the cable correctly.
2 Turn on the camera, then set
the Mode dial to .
3 Replace the batteries with
new ones or use the optional
AC adapter.
4 Use the operating system
software to make sure the
serial port is selected
correctly.
