RhythmTrak •••234 Application Examples
Operation of the RhythmTrak •••234 can be synchronized with a sequencer or other rhythm machine
equipped with a MIDI jack. This allows playback of the patterns or songs of the RhythmTrak
•••234 with
the tempo determined by the sequencer.

Connect the MIDI OUT jack of the MIDI sequencer, rhythm machine, or other MIDI
component to the [MIDI IN] connector of the RhythmTrak•••234, using a MIDI cable.
For information on connections, see page 3.
For information on the setting procedure, see page 47.
The RhythmTrak •••234 operates under control of the MIDI
sequencer.
Verify that the external MIDI sequencer can send the MIDI clock,
start, stop, and continue signals.
NOTE
STEP

Use the [FUNCTION] key and pad 13 (MIDI) and set up the RhythmTrak •••234 so
that it can receive the MIDI clock and other messages.

Start the external MIDI sequencer.
